General
The DID Card is issued by Disabled Identification Ltd and remains the property of the DID.
These Terms and Conditions may be subject to change and we reserve the right to modify the DID Card and the Terms and Conditions for any reason, without notice at any time.
In applying for the DID Card, the applicant is deemed to have fully accepted the terms and conditions set out in this document.
Only applicants in receipt of the following disability entitlements are eligible to apply for the Card:
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Scottish Disability Payment
- Attendance Allowance (AA)
- Blue Badge (Reverse Side)
- ESA or Universal Credit with limited capability for work
- Medical Evidence Letter
- Registered as a blind person or partially sighted
- Hearing Loss (Audiology Report)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment
Terms of use
The DID Card will not be valid unless it displays a legible photograph of the cardholder along with all other information present on the Card on its issue. The Card is not transferable and only the cardholder shall be entitled to use it.
The DID card does not guarantee you access or any concessionary rates at organisation or venues.
Personal Data
You are responsible for your personal data and any amendments that may occur on your online personal profile.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
Period of validity
The DID card is valid for one or two year from the date of application or the renewal date.
Renewal or loss
On expiry of the DID Card, or where a card has been lost, a new application is required and will be subject to the standard online card processing fee.
Protection of Data
Disabled Identification Card Limited is registered as a Data Processor (Reg No A8027819) under the Data Protection Act 1998.
